| Building Scholarship on Higher Education Policy: Advancing the Global Approach |

|
The Comparative and International Education Policy Program (CIEPP) undertakes scholarship and advanced level training aimed at stimulating inquiry and disseminating new knowledge about emerging or re-cast issues in education policy, with an emphasis on higher education and, in particular, on the themes of shifting pubic/private dynamics and quality and accountability.
With support from the Ford Foundation, CIEPP is pursuing and extending its scholarship and training through a set of networking activities, strengthening links and partnerships with other programs, centers, and sites, through evolving arrangements with existing projects. It is also establishing higher education policy interests; attracting and developing early- to mid-career scholars in the field, through programming in support of doctoral training, hosting of visiting scholars, and a new "CIEPP Associate’s" initiative; and strengthening dissemination, visibility, and use of the scholarship and information base through a consolidated Website.
