Addressing Violent Crimes against Women (Project Reach) |

|
This project is a partnership with community and law enforcement agencies to establish and implement a comprehensive, coordinated, and collaborative program to address violence against women on and off the University at Albany campus. As a result of this three-year project the University will establish a campus-community liaison; provide training and education for campus and community police agencies as well as staff and students; improve communication between campus and community agencies when they respond to sexual assault or other violent crimes against women; work with a community Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) to develop protocols, review cases and assess progress; and sensitize students, staff, campus/community agencies, and police departments about issues related to sexual violence, the victim’s experience, and her rights.
