Capital Region Living Healthy

Do you enjoy helping others to problem solve, build skills, and maximize healthy living? Are you comfortable co-facilitating in teaching pairs, working as a team to share information and guide group discussion in a structured setting?

If you are committed to helping older adults and their caregivers manage their own ongoing health needs, then the Living Healthy self-management program needs you. As a Living Healthy group co-leader, you will have the opportunity to present new techniques in relaxation, nutrition, exercise, and medication management with participants in a six week community-based workshop. No previous knowledge in chronic conditions is required.

For information about training to become a peer leader, please contact Karen Revitt, Project Coordinator at 518-442-5530.
