Capital Region Active Choices

Active Choices is a personal, telephone support program that encourages regular physical activity. A volunteer coach works with individuals through regular telephone contacts to develop a physical activity routine customized to the needs, abilities and goals of each participant. Contact with participants occurs over a 6 month period. The program is set up for all physical activity levels from the beginner to those people that are active but need some more guidance and motivation.

What is an Activity Coach and can I become one?

An Activity Coach provides ongoing guidance, education, and support for physical activity to assigned participants in the program.
