Godfrey's Children: A Project of Hope - Tanzania

Godfrey's Children (originally called Everyone's Child), was formed in 1998 as a project to assist children infected and affected with HIV/AIDS in Tanzania. The organization is now called Godfrey's Children after the original founder, the late Dr. Godfrey Msemwa of Tanzania.

Currently, the organization is active in the Idweli Village in Mbeya, Tanzania. Approximately 55 children are identified in the project's activities.

Godfrey's Children is an official project under the International Federation of Medical Students Association as of August, 2000. The project is represented in IFMSA by the Tanzania Medical Students Association (TAMSA) through the TAMSA President and organizing body.

The SAFA Campaign provides financial support through this project to Tanzanian AIDS orphans. If you wish to contribute to this project, please contact SAFA's Co-Chairs.
