Meet N' Greet provides UAlbany undergraduate and graduate students
the opportunity to meet, socialize and connect with students, faculty
and Africana staff, and to learn more about Nefer Rohu and
opportunities for involvement.

Nefer
Rohu will cosponsor educational programs throughout the day
and an "Africana Cultural Night" in observance of Black
Solidarity Day.

History Tour 2005
Saturday, February 26, 2005
Join our black
history tour of the Capital District. We will be touring the historic
Rapp Road community, one of the oldest black communities in the
area that originated during the 1930s and 1940s. Tour the homes
and meet the black families who migrated from Mississippi to form
this community. Afterward we will tour the NYS Museum exhibitions:
- The Art
of African Women: Empowering Tradition
- Elder
Grace: The Nobility of Aging
- Black
Capital: Harlem in the 20s
