Dear Representative:
On Friday, September 26, the University at
Albany will hold our annual Law School Fair from
10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Last year's fair was a
great success and we expect student interest in
the field of law to be even stronger this year.
To those of you who have been a consistent
presence over the years, your support has been
very much appreciated, and I am once more inviting
you to attend our Pre-law Fair. I would also like
to extend an invitation to those of you who have
not attended in some time.
Now is an opportunity to renew your
acquaintance with our campus; this is a very
exciting time at the University at Albany. The
University is experiencing a period of growth and
much has been done to improve our physical
appearance to better serve our students.
I would most definitely suggest that you plan
on attending our fair and seeing for yourself the
many dynamic individuals that attend our
institution.
A table will be provided for each participating
law school. As noted on the response form, which
has been sent as an attachment, there is a fee of
$100.00. Please indicate whether or not you will be
able to participate by returning the response form

For Law Schools who will be
attending the September 26, 2008 Annual Law
School Fair:
PRE-LAW FAIR
FORMAT
The Lecture Center Concourse at
the University at Albany was chosen based on its
size, accessibility, and availability. It is
located in the center of the campus, surrounding
the fountain pool, and will be available for
set-up beginning at 8:30 a.m. Any material you may
have sent in advance will be at the table when you
arrive.
Each participating law school
will be provided a table upon which to display
materials, a school logo, and any special
equipment, which might be used.
The Fair will run from
10:00-1:30, and there will be a luncheon.
There will be no formal
presentations by the schools or other
organization, but rather each representative will
counsel and provide information and materials to
interested students and faculty.
MOTEL
ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION
There are a number of motels in
close proximity to the University. It is advised
that reservations be made as soon as possible to
avoid any last minute problems. The listed motels
are within fifteen minutes of the campus.
MISCELLANEOUS
INFORMATION
Special Equipment: If your
representative needs any special equipment, we
will try to accommodate. Please notify us as soon
as possible.
Parking: Visitors parking is
located on the Washington Avenue side of the
campus, we have circled this area on the enclosed
map. Please tell attendant that you are with the
Law School Fair (no fee will be charged).
