Search the schedule of classes to
make a tentative schedule.
The schedule of classes search is an online
search engine that allows you to see what
classes are being offered in the following
semester. The search can be found either
on the Advisement Services Center homepage (www.albany.edu/advisement)
or through the MyUAlbany logon page (shown
below).
1. Where do I find the
Schedule of classes search?
2. Choose the Spring
Semester.
3. Search for classes based on department.
For example: You can type APsy (or just Psy)
in the Course subject box to find all of the
psychology classes in the spring semester.
You can also click on the
Subject Table
link to get a list of all the departments at
the University.
4. Check the box on the lower right corner
of the screen to get only open classes and
click submit.
5. This search returns the following
results.
You can see
that there are 63 matches to your search.
1. Class
number. This is the number that you
will need to use when registering on
MyUAlbany
2. Class name
and days and times that the class meets.
3. Number of
seats remaining in this class.
4.
General education category. This class
fulfills a Social Science requirement.
6. Searching for General Education classes.
You can search for specific general
education categories by choosing the
category in the drop down box. The
order of the categories in the drop down box
is the same as the order that appears in
your degree audit.
