Fall Open House

You and your family are cordially invited to attend an Open House program for prospective undergraduate students. Faculty, students and staff members will be available to answer your questions and provide information about the exceptional programs and services available for students at the University.

The Open House begins at 10:00 a.m. and concludes by 1:00 p.m. Check-in will take place in the Lecture Center Concourse. Please follow the travel directions below and allow time for parking and check-in before the program begins.

• Student-Led Campus Tours
• Lunch in one of our residential dining halls for a fee per person or at one of our various venues in the Campus Center Food Court

Our Open House for prospective students occurs in conjunction with Fallbany – UAlbany’s Fall Festival and Homecoming Weekend. You are invited to attend the festivities after the Open House and experience one of many great traditions at UAlbany. Schedules will be available when you check in.

Open House Registration

Each prospective student attending the Open House must fill out the online registration form.  Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation page and bar code.  Please print this page and bring it with you to the Open House.

Travel Directions to the University at Albany

From South and West: Follow NYS Thruway to Exit 24, then Interstate 90 East to Exit 2. Proceed across Washington Avenue onto the campus.

From the North: Follow the Northway (I-87) South to Exit 1, then Interstate 90 East to Exit 2. Proceed across Washington Avenue onto the campus.

From the East: Follow Interstate 90 West to Exit 2. Turn left onto Fuller Road, then left onto Washington Avenue. At the traffic light turn right onto the campus.

When you enter the campus, turn left on University Drive. Follow the signs for Open House parking.

If needed, the Albany area offers many lodging options.
