    Nature: Decline in Rainforest Greenness Might Reflect Long-Term Drying Trend

    A new study published in Nature points to a widespread decline in vegetation greenness and water content in the Congolese rainforest. The study, led by UAlbany Associate Professor Liming Zhou, found an extensive decline in satellite-detected forest greenness in the Congolese forests in the past 10-13 years.
