The University at Albany has formally established transfer articulation agreements with five State University of New York community colleges to provide preparation for and ready access to the new digital forensics bachelor’s degree program at the School of Business.
Black History Month
Television host, cultural critic and author Touré will be featured as the keynote speaker for the UAlbany’s 36th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Luncheon on Feb. 12. The luncheon highlights a series of free UAlbany events commemorating Black History Month.
An appearance by Laverne Cox, star of the Netflix blockbuster, Orange is the New Black, will kick off Sexuality Week at the University at Albany on February 3 at 8 p.m. with the talk "Ain't I a Woman." A full slate of Sexuality Week programs is scheduled from February 2 to February 18.

The Department of Music and Theatre will host a symphony of composers and performers from across the SUNY system during the New Music and Culture Symposium, Jan. 29-31 at the Performing Arts Center.
