About the IS-SA

As a student in the Information Studies program you are automatically a member of the Information Studies Student Association otherwise known as IS-SA.

What IS-SA tries to do is bridge the gap between faculty and students, to create a sense of community among its members, and work with other student organizations to plan events that all of our students can take a part in and enjoy. This is done through attending faculty meetings with student representatives as well as from student input at meetings that are announced through IST-L and our newly created bulletin board.

To become an active member of IS-SA feel free to contact any of the officers. Also, be on the look out for meeting times and places over the listserv. Come with comments or suggestions on activities, fund-raising, and the IST program itself. Simply showing up to any meetings makes you an active member!
