Institutional Economics
Exploring the similarities and dissimilarities between students union movements in India and the USA. There are marked differences in the degree politicization, rank and file participation and effectiveness of students union movements in both countries. Historically both countries have witnessed wide array of structural and institutional changes in the realm of students movement. My aim in this work is to explore historically the possible reasons behind such diverse experiences in these two countries.
System Dynamics
Developing a System Dynamics model to try to explain the observed variance in the Vacancy - Unemployment ratio in the event of technology shock. The primary purpose of undertaking this work is to explore the possibility of applying System Dynamics framework in explaining the economic issues.
