Our Dual Admissions Programs support students by increasing access to the University at Albany. If you’re attending SUNY Adirondack you can seamlessly continue your education at our diverse Research 1 institution as you work toward completing your bachelor’s degree.

Admission
  • By filling out this SUNY Adirondack application, you can opt into this agreement during the admission process as a prospective SUNY Adirondack student, or anytime while studying at SUNY Adirondack.
  • If you’re a jointly admitted SUNY Adirondack-UAlbany student who has completed an applicable Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or select Associate in Applied Science degree and have achieved a minimum GPA of 2.5 at SUNY Adirondack, you’ll continue at UAlbany upon your graduation from SUNY Adirondack.
  • If you’ve completed an articulated transfer pathway, you’ll be admitted into the corresponding major at UAlbany provided you’ve completed the required coursework and meet other admissions requirements for those programs.
  • If you’re a SUNY Adirondack student who has not completed an articulated transfer pathway or would like to pursue an alternative major option at UAlbany, you’ll be admitted to UAlbany as declared into your major of interest, provided all program admissions requirements are met.
  • Transfer credits will be granted for courses in which you achieve a grade of C- or better. Note that credits transfer, but grades and GPA do not transfer.

*Whenever possible, your progress will not be affected by revised curricular requirements at UAlbany.
